Since the conflict he had with Paige at the Orlando International Airport in Florida, Alberto el Patrón was caught in a delicate situation with the promotions that hired him . Global Force Wrestling decided to suspend it indefinitely until their case was resolved, and they have already begun canceling Mexican appearances in other countries.
GFW Suspends Alberto Patron
Pro Wrestling Elite, a promotion based in Scotland, had scheduled the Patron for the 21st and 22 of this month. However, in view of the events, the company issued a statement in which it was stated as follows:

“Recently a situation came to light and unleashed a great number of messages regarding our events for the next weekend. In the almost 6 years that we were promoting events in Ayr we were always proud of two things, the first is to bring them to the best talent and give them the best events that we can do, the second is to be open and honest with our fans. With that said, given the nature of the situation and the concern that we have expressed, this is what we want to say.
Some time ago, we asked Alberto the Patron to be part of our events on Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22. Between that time and now some things have been told us from reliable sources about Alberto. While we will not detail any of this information (although some of it is in the public eye), it was made clear that getting an agreement with Alberto could be wrong in certain respects. In other words, we did not want it to be part of our shows.
Quickly and after making this decision we find an incredible replacement in the WWE Champion of the United Kingdom, Pete Dunne. Even though we have done our best to report what happened, we know that there is still old merchandise in circulation. A combination of getting new materials and financial implications made us rely on social networks and our Ayrshire Post sponsor to express that the poster had changed. Obviously the information has been made public and caused the concern of enough people so that we feel the need to respond publicly.
So … to clarify, we had Alberto the Patron confirmed for our events. When we receive information from reliable sources regarding certain situations we make the conscious, moral and professional decision to cancel their appearances. We quickly replaced him with Pete Dunne and the shows are ready to go, without Alberto.
Hopefully this will clear up any confusion and we really hope you will come and support our incredible cast on both nights, and of course, welcome the UK WWE Champion to Ayr as it is an important moment. “
