Alexa Bliss has managed to become a number of fans who have followed his career since his stage at NXT. They have witnessed the evolution of a young woman of sparkling personality who has become one of WWE’s key fighters.
Bliss was recently invited to The Sam Roberts’ Wrestling Podcast. Among other things, Bliss spoke of gaining confidence as a fighter and who influenced her in NXT:
“In the ring, I’ve learned a lot from working with Bayley , working with Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. All of them have made me a better fighter in one way or another. I’ve had some of my best NXT bouts with Bayley, which boosted my confidence in the ring.
“My character was able to evolve thanks to the help of Blake and Murphy. I would not be the rude girl without them, because when I joined them I was the little, happy girl in the shiny tutu, and I had to experiment and get them to help me evolve and develop what is really Alexa Bliss. “
“I was really excited about the SmackDown women, because Raw has always been considered the flagship show, and when I was at SmackDown we did not feel like we were getting the same opportunities as Raw’s women.
“It was at Hell In a Cell when we started getting the opportunity. Becky and I had a cage fight and a table bout, so we were also getting opportunities, and the fact that SmackDown had the first female Money in the Bank made me feel really excited about them. “
“Obviously, I would have loved to be a part of that, but I’ve moved to a different brand and I have other things to achieve on Raw. But I was really excited about them, although, I repeat, I would have loved to be part of that, because with that group of girls it’s amazing to work, and it would have been great to share that moment with them. “
