Last week on Monday Night Raw, Bayley defeated Alexa Bliss with the help of her friend Sasha Banks , who had been Bliss’s challenger in the Great Balls of Fire.
Because both are considered with the necessary credentials to go against Bliss for the Women’s Raw Championship at SummerSlam, General Manager Kurt Angle made a Solomonic decision: Today they will fight Raw to determine who will challenge the blonde .
Can this struggle between Bayley and Banks mean the end of a friendship that has been very close up to now ? If we lose Bayley, can we see it as rough?
Perhaps some of that can be unraveled in the interview that Steve Austin did in his podcast, because Bayley discussed possible changes for his character that perhaps some change that would break many hearts:
” I guess it’s time to evolve because I’ve been doing this for the last four years, but you always need to evolve and I plan on doing this for a long time, so I know I needed to go in different directions, maybe a different attitude.
“I guess I’m suffering the consequences of my Extreme Rules fight with Alexa Bliss, where I did not use the kendo sword in it … It’s time for me to evolve and see what different ways my character can take.”
But Bayley failed to see a ray of hope, because in essence, she is the girl who likes to share hugs right and left:
” I feel a dilemma. I want to remain who I have been, the character that put me on the map . Maybe it could be a bit of both, but I do not know. I have mixed feelings because of the public response, but I do not want to change who I am just because some people do not like me. “
