John Cena Clarifies What Happened With The Nexus At SummerSlam 2010

In recent days, the controversy over the failure of The Nexus in WWE has come back afloat with statements by former company superstar Wade Barrett that Vince McMahon lied about SummerSlam 2010 . Well, now the main accused, John Cena , defends himself.

Well, actually it happened just over a month ago during a Q & A event where Cena participated while WWE was touring Melbourne, Australia. However, so far they have been posted by reporter Navianah Anderson of The 434 (Four 3 Four) web portal :

“This has been a hotly debated topic among WWE fans for some time now because they feel I should have lost that fight. Why did I win that fight? Because that’s what we did.

“For me it is difficult to blur the boundaries on this subject … But I present myself to work and do what they tell me. I will give you the gratification of this: I do not choose how the story is told, tell me that. But I choose what happens in history.

“At that particular time, it was too much. I think if it had been presented otherwise, it might have been a bit more acceptable. But I can not change the TV show, I’ve never had that power and that’s something I do not do

“If you look at the long list of my opponents, you can say that’s exactly how I work. I imagined the wrong way in how the story was told, and I guess that’s why people put so much shout in the sky about it. But we tell a lot of stories. I was wrong once. “
