John Cena

John Cena will participate In A Raw PPV

There is someone who seems to resist giving up his job as a WWE guy . Despite being announced indefinitely after WrestleMania 33 for film commitments, John Cena returned to SmackDown Live on July 4 , also signaling a new victory over Rusev in the recent WWE Battleground (2017) and resurrecting between the IWC a Controversial role of “bury”.

However, poor ratings are a big reason for this comeback, and the creatives seem to want to go all the way to WWE SummerSlam (2017), with a Cena Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for tomorrow that we suppose will be an incentive for the fans. But with his new “free agent” status, many wonder if he will fight for the red mark , barring it from appearing on Raw’s Memorial Day in June.

There is still no firm response to that question, but WWE itself has recently updated its section of Raw’s exclusive No-Mercy PPV, and Cena serves as one of the confirmed fighters for the show alongside Brock Lesnar , Roman Reigns , Seth Rollins , Samoa Joe , Finn Bálor and Bray Wyatt . We will thus have the first participation of the 16 times world champion under a red event since his work as a “free agent” was confirmed.

This also opens the door to a weekly involvement of Cena in the red mark. In fact, on August 27, the rapper will face Samoa Joe at a Raw house show to be held at the BCS Arena in Tupelo, Mississippi . So, maybe after WWE SummerSlam (2017) the rapper changes his mind and set his sights on the Universal Championship, which may have changed hands and is in the possession of Roman Reigns, also opening a horizon for the final torch step in WWE .

Recall that WWE No Mercy (2017) will take place on September 24th from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California , and was the first color-changing PPV this year, joining later this WWE Hell in a Cell SD) and WWE TLC (also new property of Raw).
